Privacy Policy
The short version: Glyph Studio renders everything on your own device. Your photos, videos and camera feed are never uploaded to us. We use cookie-free analytics to count visits, and that's about it.
Who we are
Glyph Studio (glyphstudio.org and app.glyphstudio.org) is operated by Chirag Garg, an individual based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@glyphstudio.org.
Your images, videos and camera
- Files you open in Glyph Studio, and your webcam feed if you turn it on, are processed entirely in your browser on your device's GPU. They are not uploaded to our servers or anyone else's.
- The camera only runs while you have it switched on. We never record or store camera footage; anything you export is saved directly to your own device.
What is stored in your browser
To remember your work between visits, Glyph Studio saves your current look, saved styles, saved looks and 3D Type settings in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device, and we can't see it. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they use. It does not use cookies or local storage, does not track you across sites and does not build a profile of you. It records things like the page viewed, the referring site, browser and device type, and an approximate country derived from your IP address. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf under its privacy policy.
Hosting and security
Our sites are served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare necessarily processes technical information such as your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
Third-party services
- jsDelivr: when you export a MOV (ProRes) video for the first time, the app downloads a video encoder from the jsDelivr content network, which sees your IP address as part of that request.
- Code exports: components you export may load fonts or libraries from Google Fonts or jsDelivr when they run on your own website. That happens on your site, under your control.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send, and use it only to reply and help you. We keep this correspondence for as long as it's useful for support.
Accounts and payments (coming later)
Glyph Studio has no accounts or payments yet. If we add them, for example an optional cloud library or a paid plan, we will update this policy before launch to explain exactly what is collected. Payments would be handled by a payment provider acting as merchant of record; we would never see or store your full card details.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent personal data.
- We don't use advertising trackers or cookies for marketing.
- We don't train AI models on your content, because we never receive it.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and similar laws elsewhere such as the GDPR, you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or raise a grievance. In practice we hold very little: usually only emails you've sent us. Write to hello@glyphstudio.org and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children
Glyph Studio is a general creative tool. If you are under 18, please use it with a parent's or guardian's permission. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, mention it on the home page.
